I am a Registered Dietitian providing in home nutrition services to those in Carleton Place and surrounding areas. I entered the field of nutrition because I had a passion for helping people and a fascination about how food can affect health.
As a Registered Dietitian, I believe in a balanced approach to healthy eating, where most foods are nutritious, while still allowing space for favourite foods. What works for one person, doesn’t always work for another. I take this into consideration to provide individualized recommendations that are sustainable for your lifestyle. My goal is to help you, your child or your family meet your nutritional goals and improve your overall health.
I completed my BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics at Brescia University College (Western University) in London, ON. I then went on to complete my dietetic internship at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine where I completed rotations in hospitals, outpatient clinics, management and public health.
Since graduation I have worked as a clinical dietitian at Brockville General Hospital, where I work with inpatients (acute and rehabilitation) as well as outpatients (cardiac rehab and mental health). I also work in homecare providing nutritional services with a wide variety of people from infants to seniors.
I am a Registered Dietitian. My registration can be verified with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO #15406). I am not a medical doctor and am therefore not permitted to diagnose or treat disease. My role is to help improve or maintain health with nutrition.
