What is the difference between a registered dietitian and a nutritionist?
Any one can call themselves a nutritionist as this is not a regulated profession. A registered dietitian is a regulated health care professional. This means that a minimum of a 4 year bachelor’s degree with a focus on nutrition followed by a 8-12 month supervised training program. The must also pass a national examination and maintain continuous professional development requirements. Registered dietitians are qualified to provide the evidenced-based nutrition information tailored to your needs.

Many workplace insurance and benefits plan will provide reimbursement for services provided by registered dietitians. Reach out to your insurance provider for more information. I now accept direct billing for some insurance companies, for more information send me a message.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment is due in full upon delivery of service. Methods of payment accepted include cash, credit card or e-transfer.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
24 hours advanced notice is required for all appointment cancellations. if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee will be applied.
